Grassroots Sports

Grassroots was founded in 2020 by three partners who saw the need to create a single location where Irish people could easily stay connected with sports in their home communities, as well as the communities of friends and family across the world. Navigating the thousands of websites, social media pages and newspapers that all carry snippets of amateur sports info was a major source of frustration. So, we created Grassroots!
Our goal is to increase brand value for clubs and sports organisations, as well as deliver regional and national brand awareness for the official sponsors of Irish grassroots sports. We believe our platform will deliver commercial sustainability for amateur sports organisations; bridge the commercial funding gap between urban and rural clubs; and enhance the connection between Irish people, Irish business and Irish communities through sport.
